I live and work in Singapore have done for the last 10 yrs. I’m a white British male. I really couldn’t give a crap what happens to America it has zero affect on me. The West has been in decline for the last decade, I dumped all my US dollars back in 2007 before the reccesion. You have $16 trillion dollar debt, UK and EU countries are in massive debt. I hold all my money in Singapore and Hong Kong dollars. The value of £$€ in the last 5 yrs is terrible. Asia is the future for the next century. Most probably longer as India, China and ASEAN community become the biggest tradig blocks in the world. The West day in the sun is over and they ain’t gonna be top dog again. Get over it.

The changes have already begun. When I travel around Asia I notice most tourists are from China, India and the Middle East were as before it was mainly Western tourists. The recession has hit western people hard affecting there disposable income greatly. Were as the economic growth in ’3rd world countries’ has made the middle classes there more wealthy. Infact in London the 5 star hotel I stay in is 80% packed with wealthy chinese, indian and middle easterners were as 5 yrs ago they were probably only 20%.
Look at Qatari’s in London who own the Shard the tallest skyscrapper in Europe, they own Harrods, the olympic village, lots of the city’s financial districts like Canary Wharf, investments in Sainsbury’s supermarket, bailed out Barclays bank with cash, own PSG footbal club in France. Qatar, China and Singapore own 40% of Heathrow airport. These investments are all made by their own soverign wealth funds they invest cash to buy assets in western countries at knock down prices, which in turn benefits their own citizens long term. Look at how many properties over £100 million pounds in Knightsbridge, Mayfair and Chelsea are owned by Arabs, Chinese and Indians. Infact Laksmi Mittal is the richest person in the UK and he is Indian and very friendly with the conservative party. He is regulary seen out and about with Prime minister David Cameron. So these non whites you talk about are more wealthy and powerful than any other white investor into the uk economy than I could think of. Thats all that matters is money dosen;t matter where it comes from.
